Just pull out my Surface Pro or MacBook and play some games. Connects up to two controller to your computer (PCs only). I know this will definitely be getting use for me when I’m flying on planes.
If you had a faster computer (increase RetroArch Frame Delay), you could probably go even lower.
So basically you can match SNES Classic input lag on PC using the Mayflash adapter. This guide does not need the 5th wire, so it can be cut off. SNES Classic: 57ms (stddev 5.5ms) RetroArch BSNES with HID Wiimote: 65ms (stddev 7.9ms) RetroArch BSNES with Mayflash Adapter: 56ms (stddev 6.4ms). You can play other PC games with it, too, but it requires a bit of work. Strip the USB cable and all 4 connections inside. You can easily play your favorite Steam games with the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. This may be a great option to people who own a SNES Classic and want to use their controller on their PC or Pi. Take a usb cable and cut off the non male end. The lack of a controller that felt close enough to the original SNES has kept me away from using emulators and what really urged me to buy a Classic. There’s a huge amount of input lag, the dpad and buttons feel nowhere near the snes Controller or even other 3rd party controllers. For anyone who has this problem in the future, I had exactly the same one, and I was using a smartjoy with an original super nintendo controller. Unfortunately, the proprietary connector makes it difficult to use with newer. There’s absolutely no input lag and it plays just like it would in the SNES.Īs for the included controller it’s absolute garbage. The SNES (or Super Famicom, depending on where you're from) controller is probably my favorite console controller.
Upon first impressions it works flawlessly with the SNES Classic Controller. I have emulators on my PC and my Raspberry Pi so I gave them a try with this adapter. What surprised me is that there is a USB adapter included in the box! I knew the controller would be horrible but being able to find an adapter in store for $14.99 is pretty cool since even on Amazon they’re about $12. Hey guys, I was recently in Walmart and found The Edge Super Gamepad by emio.
